If you're unable to keep relationships for the group membership in SpiceDB, you'd have to resolve a user to a group and then perform the check request to SpiceDB with that group. It just means that you're forced to add additional latency of resolving the current user to a group, but it's possible those groups could come from a place that adds no additional latency.
