I thought about that, that's why I ran two instances of the same client in parallel. Since there's plenty of CPU free, I was expecting spicedb CPU usage to go up and the clients to not a lot of extra time. But as noted, the total time simply doubled. Which is leading me to believe this is something on the spicedb server side.
